Bob's relationship with Acadia University has had its bumps and band aids. Shortly after graduation from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design in 1996, Bob's painting, "Oh! Canada!", was selected for the cover of the art gallery's exhibition catalogue celebrating regional artists. But the university president, Kelvin Ogilvie, pulled it from the presses and replaced it with something he liked.  Bob got lots of free publicity across Canada. Not bad for a new grad.
